That was Route 12 between Torrey and Henrieville, Utah - well worth the effort if you get that far east.
Also, do Route 95 between Blanding and Hanksville if you have the time. Great desert riding!

Planning on I25 being the easternmost 'border' that I won't cross
(unless there's a good biking road the other side of it !)

That would be a great rule of thumb to go by. gets pretty flat and boring east of there.

When are you planning on being there? I'll be in the area twice this year with the first being June 28-July 8th.

Other must rides;
Route 128 north outta Moab, Utah and up to I-70
Route 141 from Uravan, CO north to Gand Junction
Do a lap of the Colorado National Monument, west of Grand Junction

Just too many others to list.:thumb2

Flying into LA on May 5th & leaving again from there on June 4th. I know it's very early for the higher passes but unfortunately it was the only time where we'd 4 weeks clear :D
