Does anyone know where I can purchase some non OEM Keis cables.

I am particularly looking for the SEA connector to Keis converter cable. They seem to be out of stock on most websites and expensive.

Any help appreciated. TIA

Find the size of the plugs on either end of the Keis converter lead. Then search for lead with plugs of that size.

Your belief is ill founded.

Gerbing 5.5 x 2.5

Keis 5.5 x 2.1
Or is it the other way round?
if you scroll down the first comment on amazon
"Perfect adaptor for my motorbike to Gerbing heated jacket"

You haven’t told us whether the Keis plug needs to be male or female. Nor have you told us how long the lead needs to be.

If we assume it’s male and 1 metre is long enough, is this any use:

If Keis is ineed 2.1 which it is, then this cable is correct.
Also its 2 foot long which it doesn't look in the picture.

Fair one - I think it is the female to SAE that I need. It seems that Keis use a 5.5 x 2.1 solution.

The input to the vest is as per the attached.

Cheers all,

Then you need to Google:

SAE to female 5.5 x 2.1

Then find the correct lead length.

Done and purchased a couple - saved me some cash also 👍

Cheers Wapping and Barnoe for the replies and help!

Ok just to confirm.
this week i took delivery of my Keis gear and then this
2.1.jpg

It fits great but i have yet to connect it to the bike, it is shorter than i expected...
Pen for size comparison

Then fits onto the lead at the bottom/inside of Jacket like this

I intend to have it popping up between my legs at the front of my seat so its length should be ok

Appreciate that info !

Does it matter that it’s not fused? Need to check if my optimate lead going direct to the battery is fused, not sure it is tbh. If not it would mean the Keis jacket would be direct also with this lead?

Does it matter that the short Kies lead, as shown in post #14, is not fused? No. Providing it is itself is connected to a fused power lead.

Never connect anything directly to the battery without a suitable fuse. Always try to position the fuse as close to the positive terminal as possible.

Here is an Optimate lead. I have circled the fuse. Look how close it is to the positive terminal.
