..........so there I was, far from home at the Lumb Farm do and had it pointed out to me that the final drive seal was 'weeping' uncontrollably (I had spotted it earlier in Durham thanks to another Tosser - gloating comes to mind....
)....(no jokes allowed either about wouldn't you be 'weeping' if I was sat on your back).....
a quick call on the Friday afternoon to Keith at Pidcocks at the recommendation of Bryn, Flipfly and Skygod and the bike was booked in on the Saturday at 2 p.m.
In less than half an hour, the seal was replaced, my Fuel Pump Controller also replaced because it was looking really awful, 'an accident' waiting to happen so to speak - did you ever believe in fate, maybe the seal dragged me in to save me from something else later.....
....
Anyhoo, £25 for the job on the seal, FPC at BMWs expense and the bike got a jet wash and I got to drink free coffee for a little while whilst looking at some nice bikes.....
So this is just a thank you really to Keith at Pidcocks for accommodating me at short notice and all the other little bits that go a long way to great customer service, I really appreciated the fact that I could hit the long road home with the confidence that there wasn't some sort of 'tragedy' round the corner.....
