*GS Event* Kelso weekend 17 to 19 April

As per the title, a weekend in the Borders again. This year it was Moffat but for the weekends of the 17th and the 24th, Moffat has other bike groups filling town so I thought let’s try somewhere different. Kelso it is.
As many know, there are some great roads in the area and plenty pubs and hotels and eateries around.
There isn’t a campsite in town but this year I think only one person wanted to camp and that is possible a couple of miles away. Can’t please everyone all the time.
I’ll edit this post in due course to suggest a meeting point at 5pm on the 17th for a pint.

I’ve checked again about camping in town and for bigger events the Showgrounds open up and have facilities. Not sure how many they’d need and what they’d charge. There are sites in Town Yetholm and Coldstream, both a few miles away. I’m sure the usual park for the night sites will have ideas.
