One tired dawg ...

Old pal Bob Crawley, lives in Kelso, called yesterday morning for a coffee. One of the smoothest riders I've ever had the joy to follow :thumby:

From the hotel the guys are using, looking across to the Borders Events Centre. My campervan parked in our own field away to the right, behind the large buildings and trees. The event is an agility one and most dogs are Borders and a few cocker/springer spans! They excercise them on the field where I am. Some owners have six or seven dogs and can't keep an eye on them all ... some poo doesn't get picked up :blast

Last time I saw Bob was at the Green Frog in Moffat. He was riding a VFR at that time. This was post crash and he seemed in good fettle.
My first two European bike holidays were led by Bob when he ran guided tours. Very smooth rider on his Pan. Following him round the Black Forest and Alps twisties he rarely seemed to touch the brakes. Also enjoyed his Honda Mac course a couple of times.

Is Bob fully recovered from that horrible crash?
Yay, looking good, older and no wiser 👍
Legs not as strong as was (we know the feeling) but still packing the miles in 👍
Saying he’s having as much fun on that Honda Monkey as ever he’s had. I know exactly where he’s coming from on that :thumby:

@retroman and I took a ride out west to Moffat. Wall to wall sunshine if a little cold! No planned route, just an XT2 with Level 4 Adventure setting and follow the arrow. Wow what a day of motorcycling. 172ish miles to Moffat and back, on plenty of untrodden ground for us both!
