Food and beer
HI all, i ve been thinking of the logistics of the event, and it will probably be easier if you bring your own beer.getting 5 crates of beer on my bike might be a challenge.
Also go on the internet and download a recipe or two ,for pheasant, partridge, chicken and trout, whatever can be cooked by your equipment, frying pans , pots etc, and print it off and bring it with you.
Ideally to be cooked in under 2 hours, dont forget your knives forks plates, and baking foil if you need it.
I dont know what meat will be here for the day, and in what quantity, its probably still roaming the kent countryside as we speak, but dont worry there is a back up plan. Also if your recipe needs creme freche, garlic, cooking oil etc or any special ingredients i wont have that either, thats over to you.mind you sainsbury is 10 mins away.
I think we may cheat a bit, and ill bring a oil drum bar be que down in the car...so you can use barbq or open fire the choice is yours.
the event is a fiver head ,plus meat, and the farmer said there may be a small charge for the firewood if we burn shedloads.
attched is a pic or two of the actual site, thanks Joe for the Map.
I fancy a hammock between the trees....excuse the pics, its on a phone, and my daughter has played with the settings.atb Paul.
