Hi Flyingtiger
moved down here to Looe 18 months ago, been busy doing up our house so not been out much.
Now I've broken the back of that work I'm hoping to be out on my bike a lot more in 2017.
Sorry don't cross the border unless its for work
Mind you, I have stood on the slipway at Devonport and looked at those less fortunate over in Tor Point
I'm hoping to get out more this coming year. I'm in Falmouth so most of my rides around cornwall have been from here to the north coast and mainly out the west.

I'd say you are in a fortunate position where can choose to enter Cornwall! Us unfortunate sods in cornwall have to cross into bandit territory just to get out!
Hi Flyingtiger
The few times I've been able to get out I've loved it, very picturesque and interesting seeing new places I've not been before.
I've found Cornwall very different from Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds that I came from, the roads are not as fast and open as up country but more than made up for by the views and technical skills needed to ride them safely.
Another added bonus has been how close the Ferry is to us, we get off the ferry a I'm home in 30 mins because of this we've gone over to France a couple of times. And we're off to France and Spain in June on an organized tour which we're looking forward to.
If you want to meet up some time PM me or give me a ring on 07779272210.

I have to completely agree with you on the technicality of the roads! its a little harder to get going with the flow sometimes and the times I've found a nice road it never seems long enough. Im originally from Halifax so i was used to having the delights of the Yorkshire dales and the peak district within throwing distance!
Most of my miles this year were over in the alps, i nipped across on the Eurotunnel in spring and then during the summer went from hull to Rotterdam and then back from Roscoff to Plymouth. The year before i went from plymouth to santander rtn (much easier) down through the pyrenees and back up.
Im going on a tour in May to Spain going from portsmouth to santander with a group from bikers oracle, this will be my first with a group, normally its just me and Jess. It saves me having to do any planning this time round and at a very reasonable price too! I just wish the ferry was from Plymouth!
I pick up a new bike next week so i will hopefully be looking to get some miles done, at least enough to get the first service out of the way.
