Why doesn't anyone make a kevlar type undersuit, underwear, longjohns etc?
You can get Kevlar 'Cutshields' for welding, butchery etc, so it's possible, and with modern fabric technology, it could be bloody useful.
Ok, that wouldn't provide any impact resistance, but it would surely go a long way towards preventing gravel rash....you could wear a pair of kevlar longjohns under normal trousers (and yes, I know about dragging jeans etc) or a long sleeved kevlar t shirt under any suitable jacket.
