Glorious morning here.

I left Arabba and started with mountain passes then Italian and Austrian valleys then the Grossglockner. Cloudy and windy up there.
I'm now at hotel Lufashansl o the outskirts of Zell am Zee.
Only 150 miles today but start to head NW tomorrow so the weather will dictate the mileage.

Yes, it happened over 4 days with my pocket knife.
Sometimes I'd forget to put it in a bunch and I'd set off and the wind would blow it up in my face so I couldn't see.
It became annoying so I started making it smaller and smaller.
My wife will be pleased!

I haven't been here before and it's only a few km. South of Zell am See.
The place is huge, gorgeous and rambling. Just like nearly nothing in the UK.

We had a real thunderstorms last night!

I'd planned a longish day day to somewhere NW in Germany.
I made the mistake of putting Zell am Zimmer in my nav v to take me west then I'd change it to a random German town.
Mistake!
It tool me over the Gerlosstrasse pass that I didn't want. If I'd put a German town in it would have taken me a quicker route.
Anyway, I survived.
I'm now in a wee place south of Stuttgart and heading to Cochem tomorrow to make sure Doc didn't destroy it.
