Nearly! 246 miles today to Pescara via Cambolasso ( a very big place above 2200feet in the middle of nowhere. WHY? I've just had a lovely asparagus risotto with very hot chillies for lunch.

Very true. Here's where I had to paddle backwards on tiles to park. I won't be staying here again.

Just got aroom for two nights in Cattolica. I tried 2 hotels I'd stayed in before and both were full. Yesterday was a national holiday so the Italians have added on the weekend. It's as busy here now as it is for the Misano MotoGP. Off to find a bar and FP3 I hope.....

BTW, your biscotti looks like a jammy dodger but the beer is what's important.
(Judging by its head it looks a good one, sticking to the glass as it goes down, the hallmark of a good pint)

My first today and I've started early but when a bar puts the racing on the big screens just for you you feel somewhat obliged
