See you found the Bierhof! Had a great evening there last trip to Berlin. If you try the kneipen (bars - my German is shite but not where it counts!) around the Alexanderplatz, lots have Happy hours in the pm. That's was another memorable afternoon!
If you're still looking for places to go ... Kreuzberg for a wander- shops, pubs, Berlin's cool people. :Augie
The House on the Wannsee (maybe on the way out?) Just a posh villa but with a chilling past.

Got caught in the pissing rain for 40 minutes on the middle of the Tiergarten - sheltered under trees.

Doubtful. Look for a Getränkefachmarkt on yer phone. Bound to be one not far away.
In that case Berliner Weisse is the way to go. :Thumb2. Hope you paid your pic fee at the Zweirad museum. Grumpy fecker there saw me taking pics and strode across demanding cash! I paid on the way out.

OK, on to B.W Motorrad Days 2020.
I didn't know to expect but it still fell well short.
I spent 3 nights here all geared towards today and I am totally unimpressed.
I spike with a few German bikers who were at G-P in 2019 and they said it was so much better then!
The inside area was a bike show with trip organiser stands and most bikes were dealer customised versions of the R18.
Outside was a wall of death and a trials stunt area plus more trade stalls.
There were 4 beer tents, should have been 10 at least, and they were understaffed.
I waited 30 minutes to book a special factory tour tomorrow but they were only doing it using buses from the venue a d I couldn't ride there - no good to me then with all my stuff on the bike.
Overall, seriously unimpressed and I won't be back.
