I have no real plan but Maureen has already booked her flights so I definitely have to meet her in Sofia on 15th August...and then dump her at Eleftherios Venizelos 5 weeks later

323 miles today.
The hotel I was in near Mugello made Fawlty Towers look slick and efficient!
Once I got west of Lucca it was, at least, 100 miles of bridge tunnel bridge tunnel bridge tunnel bridge tunnel bridge tunnel all the way into France. Being high bridges over gorges they get a lot of strong crosswinds - they were fun. At least it was 28C and I was riding like an Italian. 20 miles from my destination (Castellane) I stopped to don jacket and gloves (I should also have put on my waterproof trousers but I didn't) and then, 1 mile later, I encountered 10 miles of pissing rain! My jeans, and other items, are hanging up to dry but the heat has gone.
I got checked into a hotel and as I was putting my bike into their secure garage the thunder was rumbling and then the heavens opened here for two hours. All dry and bright now.

I looked again and here were no Zarco or Martin Ts but only Pramac logo ones. I'll look at the Austrian GP if you like when I go there later in ther year.

As a matter of interest what do you do about MOTO GP tickets when you're travelling around? You obviously can't get them posted to your house as whenever I've done this they've only ever arrived about 2 weeks before the race.

don't they just email a QR code like most other events now?
Tickets now get emailed and they use a barcode on it.
I usually, sometimes just, get them in time to print off but they'll scan your phone barcode.
Better weather thus morning but I'm heading west into thunderstorms later, apparently.
