Anyone on here got or had a Khyam Freelander tent? - what are they like, how quick to put up, well made, etc etc. Thinking of buying one so I need some help in making my mind up - or not.
Very easy to put up . Good size sleeping area plenty of room for two in comfort and the porch area is big enough to set up a table inside if the weather is is bad
Its a bit bulky for the bike, but if away for several days and using one site as base i would def use it rather than go for a smaller one .There is also a footprint groundsheet sold as an extra and well worth buying
This firm has ex display ones for sale at a very good price http://www.caravans-camping.co.uk/70040/info.php?p=7&cat=14582
Freelander is good.
It's not too bulky on the bike, see the blue roll sac on the far bike.
Only gripe I have with it is you if the porch is up and it's raining water runs down into the tent.
Tent goes up in about a minute then another 4 mins to peg it out.
If you use the additional groundsheet (highly recommended) then add another 5mins to the setup.
I've travelled two up with both the blue and black roll bags (seen on the bike in the forground) which has chairs, table, sleeping mats and bags in it without problem or discomfort to the pillion.

These cannot be pictures of you Blowzorn - where's the beer?
Looked at the Freelander as my next tent - looks good, bigger than I thought, and Aspinalls (caravan and camping, website already listed) did not have any left when I went and phoned them...
