Kicking the Cat!

Im sure I read somewhere that someone got rid of the Cat and kept the original MBW silencer on?



Does this configuration improve performance or fuel consumption?
Do you just need a standard Y piece ?

Im on an 02 single spark ADV and if I make the mods does this affect the Chip settings

You can just bung a Y piece on with the std can and then later (if you want) get a shall we say a lighter end can.

thats what I am going to try

seems to give a bit of oomph without setting off car alarms

apparently you need to make sure the seals are 100% sealed unless you like poppy farting noises
