Cleaning the GS1150 today I noticed that the wires coming from the LH handlebar switchgear and ignition switch are tied together in such a way that there is quite a sharp kink which flexes every time the 'bars are moved. I may be being an old woman here but I can envisage these wires being weakened at this kink over time and eventually breaking. Maybe it's just my machine that has this potential problem but I'm going to remove/relocate that first cable tie just in case. Thought I'd share that observation in case anyone wants to check theirs out too.
