anyone know of any problems fitting a kisan signalminder along side a nippy normans autoswitch.

Nope.

I had an autoswitch on with mine for a few years.......it wasn't a NN one though, it was a Rob Farmer one, but I presume they work in the same way :nenau

The signalminder is literally a plug and play replacement jobby, so if there were any problems, you'd know about them immediately without wasting any time doing wiring etc :thumb2

The only problem i've had with mine has been the additional vectralights that run off the signalminder.....the RJ45 plugs stick up a bit proud of the top of the fuse box so after a long while, mine occasionally now throw a wobbly when my vast bulk bounces on the seat and thus the fuse box lid :blast

Vectralights are neat though, if you have big panniers that obscure the line of sight to the indicators from the rear/sides :thumb2

Problem is that having fitted the kian unit the auto switch no longer works and neither does the hazard warning lights

Hmm that's odd

I presume the autoswitch is controlling some sort of aux lights?

The only wiring with the signal minder is the tap into the brake signal line to pause the auto-cancel indicator function when braking, but I can't see why it would affect the autoswitch :nenau

Sorry Bowser, you're going to need someone better than me on electrickery.....your problem doesn't seem logical, assuming that the AS is only for aux lights, as that, and the relay it is presumably switching, are different circuits.

Where did you tap in for a feed for the AS?
