Klim Badlands Pro ....sizing ?

Unless you want a black/neon version in size small, that offer is useless.

Kinda cheeky of fc-moto do do their pricing like that. It's clearly an and-of-line special price, designed to shift the last of the stock - unpopular colour/uncommon size.

This seems to be common on their site. Annoying.

Am I the only one to find Klim jacket sizing a bit weird?

I'm a fairly average size, 6ft & 85kg and I've always taken Large/54 on just about any make of jacket I've owned.

When buying my Badlands I went straight for a Large and the trunk part fitted perfectly with a bit of loose space for a warm, heavy top underneath. However, the shoulders and arms were massive and just way too big.
I ended up buying a Medium which fits my shoulders and arms perfectly with a bit of room to spare but is very snug around the trunk.

Fortunately it's a warm jacket and with layering thin Marino tops under it I've kept warm and toasty all winter. Also, as the very stiff material has 'broken in' it feels a bit looser; I'm growing to like the way it fits now (and yes, I do understand that the jackets are designed for 'layering').

Anyway, the point I'm waffling on about is I'd really recommend that peeps try the kit on first rather than buying blind through mail order.

That is odd !
Despite you having a poor and unbalanced diet you are bigger than me and i needed a large which is just roomy enough for the Keiss jacket underneath

This seems to be an attractive offer
I'm not sure if I will get a chance to try one off
I'm 5ft 10 and just over 12 stone, any ideas if a Medium will fit ?.

I'm about the same size as you. I'm 172cm and ~75kg. I'm stocky, with broad shoulders for my height. My chest size is 103cm (~40.5") and my sleeve length, measured from the nape of the neck to the wrist, is 86cm. I ordered the large Badlands (note: that's the new version, so sizing may be different, but shouldn't be) from adventurebikeshop.co.uk because reading about online, the general consensus was to go up a size if you were between sizes. When the large arrived, I was lost in it. The sleeves came down to my knuckles and even with my two thickest jumpers underneath and my knox back protector on, I still had room to spare around my chest. I phoned Adventure Bike Shop and Jenny got the jacket collected by courier and shipped out the medium. (Top class service from Adventure Bike Shop :thumb2)

The medium is a perfect fit on me. The sleeves come down to my wrists, where they should and I can fit two heavy layers underneath. If I remove the included back protector from the jacket, I can fit my knox one under it too. It's slightly tight under the arms with the knox protector underneath, but not uncomfortable and I expect it to loosen up as the jacket breaks in.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys.

After speaking with a uk stockist I may opt for the Meduim.
Unfortunatly FC Moto are currently out of stock of these jackets, in all colours,
Let's see if they get in new stock , as I realise since the Pro version , they have now released the Badlands.

I always take a XXL/size 58 in my jackets.

Bought a XXL Klim which was enormous on me and had to send back.

Now have an XL which is a good fit :thumb
