Got a great shot of me getting my knee down on my HP2e but cant get the pics small enough to up load...

Any ideas??

open the picture with Paint, then resize, opt for pixels and tap in about 600 in 'horizontal' save it. When you attach it if it tells you the file is too large go back and try less than 600

thank you

At 5'6" (and a half!!!) on a HP2 its the only way you can get your knee down unless you are about 7ft tall!!!! When I get on a GS its like riding a monkey bike!!!!! Tiny!!

Getting your knee down on these bikes just looks silly tbh, like those twats from the MCN trying to ride a GS like it's a race machine.

Best off sticking with the bike and not looking like you're about to fall off if you want to appear stylish :D

The being strangled by the beginners bib just finishes it off :D

Brilliant stuff. They can be a right miserable bunch round here... :D It looks like you were having a great time and good on yer. Never had my knee down and at my age it'll probably happen but I won't deny I've tried hard. Bikes should be fun...it will be a sad, sad day if we ever stop having a go and pratting aroud a bit, even at the risk of looking silly in some people's eyes.

Having seen sniffy's knee down tecqnique,I've just got my knee down on my 1150 GSA even though it was sat on it's mainstand in the garage at the time.

:bow

Guys its all about having fun, and getting my knee down on a HP2 with a Novice bib on REALLY upset sports bike boys, with tyre warms etc..... Got moved to the Intermediate group, one guy accused me of have an ACU licence!!!

Problem with sticking with the bike is everything starts to touch down, get more ground clearance this way..... not something I ever thought I would say riding a HP2!!!

If you want to learn to get your knee down and some other great riding course which wont break the bank I can point you in the write direction....

Had so much fun gone and bought this to go MZ racing..... be nice.....

Top Man !!

You'll have a scream on that!! (how much was it .. if it's not rude to ask?)

I had my first knee-down experience at Silverstone in the spring - it was a bit of a surprise too. I'd already done my toe-sliders so it was my technique that was lacking until then - that and big bollocks..

It takes a lot to turn off your sensible head when you're on a track, and actually let the bike do what it's capable of doing. My 'indulgence' is a prepped GSXR750 K1 which is fukonlyknows how much better than me, but despite knowing that, I was absolutely convinced I was going to bin it the first time I went round Graham Hill at Brands ... I vividly remember repeating to myself "You wont fall off.. you won't fall off..." and of course I didn't and I got progressively faster as the day went on. What it did show me though was how much more the bike was capable of giving when I thought I was 'on the edge' ...

Modern tyre technology has come on so much in the last few years, even a 1200 will be capable of dragging everything it's got if pushed - it's just your head (and skill level) that tells you to stop being so reckless :blagblah

I'm 54 next month ;) and want to go faster still.... :JB

Fully raced prep'ed with custom made yokes, rear sets etc etc £1725 (which is expensive for an MZ but it just looked sooooo nice!!) with loads of spares..... MZ racing was about as cheap a racing series I could find and the guys are very helpful...
