Knobbly pressures?

Dear God - if that was MILES I would say they were expensive

To be fair, we were tipping the ton most of the time on the open roads and it was over 30°C a lot of the time. Running at that speed in those temperatures for hours at a time isn't going to do a tyre any favours. We were also riding on a lot of gravel roads, which were graded with sharp, granite gravel, which again won't help a tyre's lifespan.

(I am sad and log when they get changed in the back of the Haynes manual, along with any other major maintenance) I also keep a log of fuel consumption

I do the same - any changes or maintenance is logged. You'll also see my fuel consumption in my signature were I track it using fuelly. I find an increase in fuel consumption is often the first indication of maintenance required.

I've been given a pair of Karoo 3s to test and so far finding them far better than the Heidenau and TKC 80 in all respects.

Fairly easy to fit yourself, which is important for me.
Pic taken just after fitting.

Is the front on the right way round ?

Thanks Tim.
I was going to get Anakee Wilds on my GS but can't get fronts in 110 here in oz.
I am off to Oz mainland in October for 3 weeks and going to cover as much dirt as possible between Melbourne and Eyre Peninsula in South Ausralia so I am after something with a bit more grip than the Anakee 2 that I currently have.
