KPH readout

Eh? I can change to kph in settings menu on mine.

''I am aware that KPH is displayed on the inner dial of the analogue display''

this part may have given things away that the bike does not have TFT

Analogue? Meh. First four letters say it all.

Looks like dealer seems to be the way forward unless some wizard knows how to do it on the LC with a GS-911 as mine has latest software but cannot see the option yet.

Yes, just need to find a professional dealer. Mine, it would seem is not. Will name and shame at a later date, as I may require further services from them before departing..

Don’t hold your breath that it will ever be an option on the analog clocks in a user menu. People have asked since the addition of the lcd screen but it has stubbornly remained a dealer only option

Highly possible, on GS-911 roadmap just says future as always.

An incredible oversight to not include owner reset in the user menu. Worlds most popular tourer with such a glaring fault. Shame on BMW tbh.

How do you get it to display the speed digitaly?... that said, I don't think i have the top computer on mine, so maybe I can't... but would be better than looking at 2" gear position numbers... especialy as I can't see the speedo right away (eyes have to focus you know ;) )

The analogue dash is a bit of a let down in my opinion. Shortly after buying my bike last year I picked up a mint Nav V from eBay and I find it transforms the riding experience. It changes the many and varied speed display options to kph automatically (and changes "speed camera" to "dangerous road" or something) as you cross the channel. Put the dealer kph conversion charge towards a Nav V or VI would be my choice.
