KTM 1050 Adventure - Battery location

I have no definate answer but if it is anything like my mates super duke it will be under thetank or down further still above the belly pan
My old 950 Adv had the battery under the engine at the front.

I assume it is the same as the 1190 , in which case it is under the seat.
almost certainly.
i've put a hella socket in the side panel, which i can take a feed from or charge through. i've never needed to charge though, even though the battery is little more than a PP9.
the plain black and painted sections are separate and a piece of piss to drill for the socket.
