That's a given. I paid over 11 grand for a launch model 790Adv with cruise, QS+ etc. Think they were knocking them out for under 9k a year after. And they might have fixed the bloody annoying probs that kept it off the road an awful lot

That looks better, I was hoping for the Adv frame and 20 litre tank with tall screen but with the Duke tuned engine and the 17" front and road biased suspension
I may revisit it next year but get the 890R and do the 19" front conversion on one, unless a1290SMT comes out mmmmmm

With a bike with T in its title, I'm surprised they haven't kept it at 20litre plus tank...for a 250mile range

So with nearly 15 years of development they bring out an SMT with 10bhp less.
Why did they not fit the 115bhp engine from the 890 Duke - or wait and make it with the 990 engine that will be along shortly?

I suspect because as is usually the case for what is essentially a road going vehicle, it's not all about headline power figures. It's all about the area under the torque curve.

Funny that none of the reviews cover the luggage options for the supposed "touring" version of the bike. Panniers, topbox?
Touring, to me, means having to take stuff &#55357;&#56900;

Sorry mate - I confess I turned off before the end. Couldn't listen to him any longer - where's Neevesy when you need him.

I I've seen a few others and nobody (else) has mentioned it - I thought maybe KTM were playing it down so it doesn't steal sales from the Adventure model.
