Having pretty much had an ‘adventure bike’ in the garage for the last 20 years with 21/18 wheels, it’s a revelation to have the riding position and room of such a bike but with 17" wheels and sticky rubber.
At least that’s the impression I got on the quick hour ride I had before heading off to work.
Taking it to Brittany in three weeks to run it in .

Had a sit on one this afternoon at P+H . Nice and roomy , comfortable for my 6 foot 6 frame . liked it a lot

Superb handling and very agile.
Riding position a little cramped for me - would need a higher seat/lower pegs.
Engine very good but perhaps lacking a little character - felt the same about the Norden.
Lots of wind noise once above 70mph - for me would need some sort of screen.
Suspension is good - was expecting it to be harsh/firm but surprising compliant on the back roads.

Overall an excellent motorcycle though not really a tourer and personally would wait for the full fat 990SMR which KTM will hopefully get round to making at some point

If it was mine, I'd like to see a little protection for the fuel tank. Very vulnerable looking in a minor slide - £1074.48.

I had DHL on the phone for their £100 so fast that I thought it was a hoax call - Literally before Wings had even sent the despatch email.
I guess you don't suffer these mainland parasites.

Would you trust the opinions of anyone what doesn't know what DNA and LSD mean...?

Regardless of that, I empathise with his current health issues; especially since I've just somewhat tentatively got back on my bikes this year after 2 years off because of ill health.

It’s great .
Dialled up the suspension settings to ‘Sport’ today and it feels even more planted . Then fitted Peak Design mount so I can use phone for navigation

I downloaded the KTM app to my phone & get turn by turn navigation to the TFT.
Also shows on screen when someone's calling ... but I don't have an intercom thing.
So contented with this setup that I never bothered installing the Zumo.
