Based on my experience with 4 BMWs (prior to current RT WC) and 3 KTMs (including current 1190A), I would venture that this question is being posted in the wrong section...

I can just picture the scene now; too excited to stay in bed he's up early and off, the poor long suffering Mrs Giles driving him to the dealer and now sat in the car with her flask of coffee.............Giles meanwhile alternates between pacing up and down past the locked front door, constantly checking the time on his watch then pushing his sweaty little mush up against the plate glass window trying to catch a glimpse of his bike, but all to no avail........where is it? Surely they can't have had a problem?? Surely they would have let him know???

Actually, as its my first day off after a week of fairly early starts i'm still in bed ..!!!
But you're right!!! Gotta get up ..!! Ktm' to go and buy ...

Well Rosie whispered to me the other day (Larry was at work), if 'he' wants to change his bike again she should have a say which accessories it should have or not.

Definitely a case of numpty "low flying objects" on my part!
I should have stayed in bed today I think.

It was pouring with rain when I eventually left the dealer so yes, stopped for a couple of pics but otherwise got home. (had to pick teenage kids up as well ..).
It's all too new to get my teeth into at the moment, motor and gearbox still feels very tight, brand new tyres, discs and pads ... I need to do a couple of hundred miles on it just to try and bed it in a bit. all good though, Wings on its way ....
Here's a thing ....
Bearing in mind my GS was decatted and had a full remus system on it and then mapped .... I rode it to the dealer today having spent the last few days putting it back to standard (apart from the remap). Bloody hell!! Honestly - it's chalk and cheese. No ooomph, no life, no fire in its belly ..... it's like putting Mo Farah on the operating table and giving him Bernard Mannings lungs.
So in terms of tinkering with your bike and getting the best out of it .... if you get the chance .... play header pipes end can and a trip to Hilltop. It will transform your bike ...
