I reckon its likely to be Bastard operator from hell trouble, a poor workman always blames his finely crafted machinery first !!! before looking at the operator error !!!

Nice to see you made it home from Belgium in one piece !!!

sticking indicator

this happens when the L/H switch is sticking on
remove switch and spray with contact cleaner

hope this helps

Water in swtich when rubber boot on switch perishes. It is possible that WD40 causes the perishing??

this happened to me too, it got increasingly worse... took it into BM and they said the switch needed replacing at £116 including labour...i pushed for a good will out-of-warranty agreement and ended up paying £16!

Your whole switch will need replacing:(

You have schizophrenia. One of your personalities turns it on for a laugh, just to freak the other one out.

new switch

well took it in for 18.000 service at clarks rednal
they looked at switch said well f*%$ed you will need another one
they spoke to bmw for me 1 new switch free even though its out of warrenty
just the cost of fitting the item which i think is a result as new switch now £135 + vat
excellent service from clarks as usual cannot fault them every time i use them :thumb2 :D:beerjug:
