Lake District Accom in August?

Me and a mate are coming up to the Lake District in late August for 3 or 4 days scrambling and climbing. I don't fancy Youth Hostels in August so can anyone recommend anywhere that's got clean beds, good showers and a pub nearby?

you'll be lucky to find accomodation in August, I do know a friendly pub about 20 mins from Keswick, that does b&b, let me know and I will find the number, anyhow give me a shout, am not far away
