well done, you didn't know the route or the roads and relied only on a sat-nav plot supplied by someone else brave indeed!

i rode right behind you mate for a lot of the time.....

it was a pleasure... well ridden! and well done!

i'd be quite happy to ride with you anywhere any time

Thanks for letting me ride at the back guys. Enjoyed chasing you down when Terry's Schuberth decided to fall apart in an attempt to show them northern ladies (or is that laddies) what they were missing out on

Normally I hate group riding, but you guys rode nicely and it was just a lovely pace thanks to you all.

Today I shall be mostly drying out camping kit!!!! I actually still had ice on the inside of my tent when I got home.....hardcore!!!

Having watched how yours performed in the wind (oo-er madam) I bought a Phad from Amazon today. It was £86 including postage which seems a good buy.

Next time I'll have the same tent as Squid and Geordie Foote, even if I haven't got the same bike!

Phad - good buy I think We will have to tie colour ribbon too them though, so long as thats not a symbol for doggers

I want one of those mats like bobbles; and a Gadger to keep my sleeping bag warm and protect my belongings

I'm going to be a bit tied up with things for a while now -I'll explain soon.

However, a long weekend has to be on the cards, perhaps later in the year Wales would be good.

We can always do the lakes ride again next year but try and get all riders to camp for the duration. I don't think the campsite would have a problem with this after our good behaviour

PS, I'm back off to Sykeside tomorrow for a few days with the family - can't wait to warn them about the tent eating Badgers

It's funny.. we all want something that someone else has got, I want a steal bottle like Peters that you can put boiling water, put a sock over it and throw it in the sleeping bag like a hot water bottle

Anybody know if you can do that with a Sigg bottle?

Failing that... how many Gadgers do you get in a litter

I thought he said it was a Sigg bottle. My Sigg bottle is certainly water-tight but when I crawl into bed I'm not usually in a fit state to boil water first.
