Day off, no jobs to do list from the mrs............ so 7 this morning buggered off for a ride to the lakes, to test the new jacket ( rst adventure .) During the hot spell we had the jacket was champion, loads of vents. Today was for cast for rain and cold .
Run via Shot bridge, Derwent res, Alston Etc into lakes, bimble around. Back via Hart side ,Alston, Hexham. Not disappointed with the test, rain ,sleet warmest 8 ,coldest 2 ( hartside ) but the most comfy jacket had for a while.

First photo was just before the sleet/snow started.

Working as most folk do weekdays :-)

Hmm, never thought of my self as " most folk ".
Which is the point of the post, if you are off and want to have a run out,
you are not in the most folk box,or consider your self so, are off during the week when we have roads to our selves and fancy a cuppa and the crack, i`m a Geordie so we have good crack , normally week days when the half wits are at work and the joy of working shifts laugh are bits off working the weekends while it is peeing down, or knowing the poor sods are being dragged around the shops on a Saturday leaving only Sunday .
Just a thought, never mind , enjoy the weekend .

I'm a "Geordie" too, but I don't think that's "Good crack"

Forget last, time to rise above it.

Doesn't really work .... does it ?

Some of us don't have much choice about our work or leisure hours, doesn't really say much about who or what we are though.

Very true, we can however be selective in our choice of 'riding buddies' :-)

Hey Tony, enjoy the BMF do, christ if it stops raining !
Yeah agree that part of the world can be better during the week without the weekend hero`s messing it up.
Aye game for a run with anyone who has a day off during the week.
Stay safe, Stu
