I have posted a few times regarding my problem with noise with the standard 1200 GS screen. I have read many other threads on the same subject and decided to try the Laminor Lip as its one of the cheaper options and also was available quickly (took 5 days from ordering to arrival in Singapore).
Last weekend I fitted to my bike with masking tape in order to find the best position. I'm 5'9" and suffer only a wind noise problem, no physical buffeting.
I tried the Lip is a couple of positions about 2.5 inches abouve standard screen and 3.5 inches. Frankly I can't tell any difference than before, still same old whistling wind noise and anything over about 50 mph. I'm disapointed as I was expecting at least a maginal improvement.
In the end I did not fit it permantly, I've decided to try again when I have more time for experimenting.
So would appreciate any comment from others who have fitted one to their bikes.
Thanks,
Dean
