lampf and indicators

lampf lit up on the dash but all lights working,but the right indicators[both]flashing in double time. anyone had this and know what it is. 1200 tc. all suggestions gratefully received. thanks. j

Only a guess, but had something similar on a K bike. The bulb in the rear indicator was about to fail and did, shortly after.
If it's LED's, you're on your own.

I believe BMW service (and maybe the GS-911) can reprogram the Canbus to handle LEDs

I retro fitted led lamps to on older gs pre led fitment and never had an issue with them not working or getting quicker lamp f is a problem with your front light have you checked that out making sure all are working correctly ?

sorry sparkieboy just noticed this. yes all lights working,going in for a service this week so hopefully can be sorted.

Electrical weirdness = bad earth (more often than not)

You are correct the lamp f does come up if the indicators don't work learned this the other day

I got lampf warning the other day when several of the individual led's had failed on one indicator. No rapid flashing though.
Replaced the fried led unit with a standard bulb holder and lampf went out.
