I leave for Le Mans on Friday so took the bike out today to fill up so I'm ready to go. As I pulled up at the petrol station I got the orange triangle and Lampr on my dash. I checked the tail light, brake light and indicators and everything works fine. I filled up and on switching the ignition on the Lampr error had gone. I had a quick try at finding the wiring to the tail light and dropped down the number plate holder, couldn't work out how to remove the rear light though !

If its a non LED tail lamp ie filament bulb change the bulb ;)

Canbus being clever, will reduce the power to the remaining filament to give a tail light function

When you brake, it will bring the power up to full to give the effect of a brake light

I got caught out that way ;)

the tail light is LED, I thought all LC's were LED ?

I had exactly the same error whilst on tour in Spain. Ignition off/on fixed it and it never did it again. Just put it down to a glitch

Had a front indicator LED fail but still work. The repeating frequency was too high. I ended up replacing both. LEDs don't fail like filament bulbs. I would suggest it will reoccur at some point but worse. In the mean time just ride.
