Putting my Defender up for sale.
There's not many left in this condition these days, especially one-owner!
It's one of the very last of the 2.4 engine variants off the production line. It's been meticulously cared for, and has many useful upgrades.
It's been garaged all its life, so as you would expect the chassis and bulkhead are in excellent shape.
I'm the first and only owner.
Colour is a limited-run "Orkney Grey"

All these pics were taken in the last couple of weeks.

It has over 12 months MOT having just passed - no advisories, and the MOT tester complimented me on the excellent condition of the vehicle.

The chassis was Dinitrolled in the first couple of days of ownership, it's immaculate (any splurges you see are the cavity wax, or the surface wax, there's no corrosion):

A few of the upgrades:

1. Trucklite genuine LED headlights

2. Cruise Control (Nakatenanga), Startech Steering Wheel (removeable as a security device)

I believe I have the OEM steering wheel somewhere too

This is the security boss that is installed when the steering wheel is removed

3. FULL Leather Seats

4. SVX Wheels (a couple of blemishes where the lacquer is leaking)
The OEM "Boost" wheels will be included in the sale
The All-Terrain Tyres have plenty of tread left.

7. Safari Equipe Rock and Tree Sliders:
(great for car park protection :) )

8. Nakatenanga Stainless Spare Wheel mount:
(note that the weight of a spare wheel on the rear door can cause damage over time - this is a valuable modification to protect the hinges and rear door from damage)

Further Information:

Obviously one owner
66000 miles
12 months MOT
Loads of paperwork, original manuals, V5 in my name etc
I'll be keeping the Reg, and putting it back to CV61SBY
I have the OBD IID CONTROL device too for diagnostics (a £520 extra! - the equivalent of a GS-911 :) )
Just Serviced
A bunch of useful spares, including a VCV, MAF and EGR
(NOTE: This car - the 2.4 does NOT have a DPF as standard - and is better for it!)
Being a USW, it is N1 road tax, so ONLY £325 :) (many Defenders of a similar age are much higher road tax)
No Pets, No Smokers
£27k firm to include all extras (except cherished plate) and Original Parts where I have them

Additional Info if you're an anorak!
Suspension Upgrade - the Defender has Koni Heavy-Trac shock absorbers all round. Because it is a "USW" it had extra-firm rear suspension from the factory - I improved the ride with custom rear springs: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49065.html?highlight=coilsprings (I don't carry heavy loads so the 1T rear springs gave an awful ride before the upgrade).
Sound Proofing - the Defender has a full "NOISEKILLER" kit, TGE Side-Panels, and quite a bit of DYNAMAT to give a much quieter drive.
You can now drive at 65mph, on cruise control, and have a conversation with any passengers (which is not usually possible on a Defender :) )
A Femco oil drain is installed

More Disclosure
If you look carefully, you can see the mirror arms are both oxidising.
Front bumper is a galvanised HD military version. It's galvanised so the POR-15 paint I used is chipping.
The vehicle battery is a few years old, and needs charged if the vehicle isn't driven for a few weeks (I normally don't drive the Defender in winter, so was planning to pop a new battery on in Spring '26)
The sticker on the top right of the back of the vehicle covers a small mark where a piece of wood (on a trailer) hit the car's body.

I forgot to add:
The Leather Seats are "Lucari" ones: https://www.lucari-solutions.co.uk/...-rear-fit-land-rover-defender-90/category/51/
I bought them with Heaters. The heaters are installed inside the seats. However I never connected them up - mainly because I tend not to use the Defender in winter (salty roads and all that!)
I do have the wiring loom do do this, and the loom will be included.
Just needs wiring up :)

At my lockup in Aviemore
Found the original Boost wheels, and also a spare black front grille and light surrounds (original, in Black)
