Not the Land's End, but Tipley, one of the MCC Exeter Trial 'hills'
I watched the first 10-15 mins and it gives a good preview to newbies of the 'stop and restart' test for bikes, what to do and how to do it etc
Might be worth a watch for sme tips

Thanks for that Johnny. I got a good tip from that YouTube vid, "Don't enter on a 230kg R100gs! Oh bugger I already have.
Seriously though, you can see from those clips that your wheel placement is key if you are going to stand a chance cleaning the stage.
It is & the crucial difference in classic & LDT trials is that you ride the stages 'blind' without inspection which is totally different to the observed trials that I ride

These events aren't easy, but we're not talking extreme sports. It's a nice and challenging ride round. All those hours on your motorcycle....

Is this event over Easter? Never dobne but like watching occasionally if weather is OK.

I am taking it as seriously as I can. New tyres, special bike fettle, new jacket, new visor, road book reader made, sturdy underpants purchased.
I've just prepared myself for failure, should it all go a bit pear shaped.
As I've had 1 day's training with Skygod I should breeze through it.

Not wishing to tempt fate... But next week actually looks quite dry and Friday night might well stay above freezing!

The first sight of it is one of the highlights of the event
It does look scary but once you're on it, it's not so bad. Plus it's not muddy.
