A highlight for me was seeing the sea in the early morning light after an amazing night of freezing cold and following a trail of lights across the moors.

The lowlight was feeling exhausted near the end and deciding (as I intended to ride the 300 miles home) that I should miss the last to hills!
It was probably a wise decision as I arrived home to the minute 24 hours after Id set off with 642 miles on the GPS, the last 70 were very hard - In hindsight it was a stupid idea to plan to ride straight home.
Great to ride with the guys, good coaching from Ian (who's very good), excellent efforts by all including Mav's superior HP2 skills
Next time I'll be staying down there and fitting heated grips ( my hands are cracked and shagged from the cold) - I could also do with some more skill, those that get up some of those hills are very talented people.
