After 9 years of putting up with the small LH system case due to the high silencer, I have finally got round to fitting a stubby exhaust and have converted the LH case with a new full-size back.:thumb2
I'm now in the middle of making up a bracket to mount the case bottom support in it's new position on the wider case and I'm just wondering what others have come up with in the past?
Any suggestions (and pics!) welcome - something tidy but rigid is the general idea.

A mate of mine works for a place that make bespoke carbon fibre parts mainly for race cars (also the cosworth F1 engine btw). He made me up a carbon bracket which bolts onto the old exhaust mount. Works just fine.

You can also secure the larger pannier on the exiting mounting without a bracket by fixing a couple of plastic blocks onto the pannier body. Someone on here has done it.

Someone posted a really good "lateral thinking" solution to this a while ago. Rather than do something to the bracket, they used shelf blocks on the new pannier to create a slot to hold the existing mounting, instead.

Cheers Guys

Thanks for replies guys - food for thought. I quite like the idea of modifying the pannier though:thumb
