Planning a fly drive nashville to new Orleans in the next couple of years....in a car
Again, places I want see

We got the train from New Orleans up to Memphis, it was great. it was then a 4 hour drive Memphis - Nashville

Spent some time in Savannah Georgia, a really nice town with great southern hospitality.

Thank God you were never called upon to be the rear gunner in a Lancaster, flying to the Ruhr. You’d be forced to add very cold to your first world horror.

My father was rear gunner in Lancasters in WWII. He too would have complained about missing breakfast before a 6 hour flight, no matter where he was going.

Chapeau..... my great-uncle was in Lancasters as wireless operator. Unfortunately shot down and killed over eastern Holland....buts thats off topic and for another thread.....
