Laser or Remus end can?

Oh well - I suppose I asked for that. After 37 enthusiastic messages about replacement silencers I was sticking my neck out!!! But seriously, I did read that fitting replacement cans and silencers etc does also require tuning modifications and that the majority of after market fittings added very little and often reduced power; Now I will retreat and keep my head down.

what are we looking for here? More or maybe less power and probably more noise.

From previous experience of a bike fitted with a cat (not BMW I know) the difference in fitting a non cat exhaust was very noticeable, more responsive, crisper on the throttle, so I have to admit I may be jumping the gun here but I can't see the results for the GS being any different.

I've fitted the Remus front pipes (no problems with alignment) and the bikes stock end can ( perfect fit) and will review the situation after I get the thing run in and can give it some welly. :D

The fact the stock can fits on the front pipes is a benefit in my book, aftermarket can for general use, yet the flexability to switch to the stock for those times when a more "subdued" exhaust note may be required.

Right, off to get some miles done! :thumb
