That proves a point then does;nt it, and I guess you must be one of them. :dabone

Looks like you really have got a Mickey Mouse set of maps there,fella....

Cumbria in the North West and Wirral in Cheshire...??? :D :D :D

DPH...I really don`t know why you appear to have your head so far up your arse, but either explain what`s jiving you,or drop it,will you ?

The Cheshire lads have been meeting for some time now....I showed my face there for the first time last year,as a total stranger to them all. They welcomed me,we all got on,and I acquired some new friends. I also had an enjoyable night time ride home.....
They`re the original North West group...
They live smack bang in the UKGSer defined North West geographical region.
They`re a friendly bunch of guys ( and gurlz ).

What`s yer fecking problem ???

I've just sussed it, why DPH goes on, PARROT-PARROT-PARROT, isn’t that the bird that repeats itself :dabone

Got a great recipe for exotic birds, stuffed and roasted :D

Have a good Xmas DPH, don't drink too much, see you next year at your meet. :mmmm

:D :D

Fair Hearing

For your information,I`m constantly monitoring them.....

I think everything has been getting a hearing....

Only if the Gay cider drinking scouser says so :dabone :dabone

ok, come on then... where, exactly are you going to meet up... if someone suggests somewhere, then people can either find it or not, go or stay at home, think it's worth the ride or it isn't... If this is not a club, but more of an agglomeration of like minded individuals, surely it doesn't matter how many local group meetings or drinking venues are in use.... so come on, where you gonna be on the 14th? :nenau

Well said that man.
Well unless you can get past the cheshire mafia, or even the scouse godfather, then I;m pretty sure it;s all cut and dried, and they are haveing a get together in the windmill, just of junction 19, of the M6, on Tuesday 13th DEC.

And if you are going to be demonstrating your knitting skills along with the rest, be sure to take your own wool and needles, the sharper the better, you never know if there are any scousers around you just might need them for something else

Like knocking a squawking caged bird off its fecking perch,perhaps....???

If DPH knew a little more about NORTH WEST geography and its inhabitants then he should be aware that people from the Wirral are not scousers (like people from Sunderland are not geordies).
There is nothing at all wrong with scousers in so far as their wit is often very humorous and original and not like some bitter and twisted repetitve rant like people from OTHER regions :D

December meet

Hi Les sorry its taken so long to reply, I've not been on the site for a while. Anyway yes I'm much better now thanks. I heard it was a good night with a few new faces so I'm sorry I missed it.

For the last couple of years a small group of GSers have metup at the Broughton Arms and anyone and everyone is welcome. We decided to move the venue because the localls didn't like us talking while the quiz was on. The first place we tried was the Cat and Fiddle and the next was the Whipping stocks, both venues were fine and because they're a little further North we started to see a few new faces and these people have now become friends. I think that if the meet moves any further North we may lose some of the the regular GSers that travel up from the South. The North West area is just too big to suit everyone and I don't think that it's right to move the meet away from the regular GSers that already attend. For all the GSers that find the meet too far South to attend I'm sorry, I suggest that one of you choose a venue, day and time and see if anyone else attends. I remember when the Broughton meet was first started by Rushy that for months the attendance ranged from two to six people. We carried on because even if only two of us could make it it was a good night. Eventually the two became six and some months we could get as many as twelve Gs's on the car park. I don't see any reason why a monthly GS meet could not be set up North of Manchester. In the summer months maybe the Southern group would ride up to the Northern group and vice versa.
I think the monthly bike meet is one of the best things to come out of UKGSers.com and it's a shame that it's being hijacked by D.P.H. His threads seem to have become bitter and insulting because a) the original bike meet is too far South for him to attend and b) there was little or no interrest in a more Northerly meet being setup by Raithrider. I know by saying this I've set myself up for a D.P.H verbal bombardment, but we should not let one person spoil the meet and the forum for the rest. In my opinion if D.P.H insists on posting insulting and negative remarks he should be ignored and therefor given no voice.
It is not my intention to upset or insult D.P.H or any other GSers out there, intelligent and constructive conversation on the forum is always welcome as is anyone wishing to attend the bike meet.
