I was seriously toying with the idea of 525's after one of your recent posts and found a set at decent money but no way would they fit top side on the Migsel bar

Been asked about clearence of the lights and fitting so here are a few pictures in daylight for anyone interested.
540 clears the side panels easily if mounted in the outside slot of the Migsel bar and the bracket of the 1900 fogs just needs widened to take the bolt for the 540 on one side.

The grills are plastic but the rest of the body is metal.

No need to be sorry Dave, we all have different tastes.
I went with the 540's over the more popular 510's as they have a more focused beam pattern.
Oh yeah and I got them for less than half the cost of 510's
