The Ford was a gooden....four bikes and only one victim, sadly no picture as I was trying to get the water out my boots before running back in and filling them up again..

I will be intereted to view more other photos of this day.

I have always had an interest in lawrence, I gained it from my father.

As an advisor to the Ottoman army he fought against the Arabs that Lawrence led.

I still have a jewel encrusted dagger that my father was presented with by Prince Vaheddin.

In 1935 my father travelled to England to visit A.V. Roe on a luftwaffe mission to possibly buy Hawker Hurricane fighters.
During his stay father met Louisa Frampton and stayed with the family at Okers Wood house.
He was there during Lawrence's funeral and I rememeber him telling me of meeting Winston and Clementine Churchill.

We often wondered what part Lawrence might have playing the the Hitler war

The missus wasn't too pleased when I rolled in at nearly 8pm having left at 8.30 that morning.

I only got my camera out when we stopped to admire the view over Poole harbour.

did you have to do miles of filtering to get down to dorset?

i was going up the M3 at roundabout the time you would have been coming down. it was like a car park going south.

nice and clear north. different story on the M25 and M1. missed the wedding we were going to

never used any main roads if there was another option, just the one small section about 10 minutes was slow, just south of Salisbury.

most of the of the roads we used were "literally" empty.

here's a couple of pictures of Seamaster, who had no intention of crossing the ford, but then got his his cuff caught in the throttle grip. Hence explaining the turn of speed on entering the water and the strange route.

Thanks Neil, great day out,when do i get my certificate for passing the advanced U-turn test/exam. Boots have managed to dry out now, feet still a bit prune-like. Good to meet fellow Tosser's, poor lad in resturant will probably hate you london bikers for a while yet, maybe another visit soon just to really p$ss him off. Next time i shall take my sea sickness tabs, hell of a crossing should have booked a cabin. Cheers guys.
