LC Fuel Economy

44 mpg.

And its the last thing I think of................

And yes, I`m a retard.

:roll

Sincere respect for all the geezers who look into this sorta stuff.

Mines currently at 56mpg - hmmmm I think you have to really going some to get it as low as 44mpg. How often do you reset consumption 'trip'??

From a full tank yesterday and a mixed run after, i.e. A & B roads, speed of 75mph for 3/4 hr on cruise control (A38) followed by up to 60 ish on twisty rural roads, I have 126 miles range left and travelled 108 miles yesterday giving a tank range in that kind of run of 236 miles....I'll happily take that.

I have to say...................

and :nenau were happy in our porcelain world butt out :aidan

I rode up to Glasgow from Newark on Monday via A68 through the borders with Zega's and topbox. The wind was blowing really strong from the NorthWest I checked fuel con at Jedburgh 46.32 the computer said 45 coming back on Tuesday with no wind and in beautiful sunshine with same riding style 51 MPG its the barn door effect you know.

These are some pretty impressive mpg numbers.
My 1150 would do about 40 mpg at very best. Once got as low as 22 mpg ( 80 miles before the fuel light came on!)
But I was ragging the absolute knackers off it on the motorway.

On my r1200r, I average about 52 to 54 on fast motorway and commuting dropping to 40 when in the mood for a hoon.

I'd be impressed if the LC betters this.
