The LCD info panel on my 1150GSA has stopped displaying temp and fuel. The time is still ok.

It was intermittint at first and would only happin when you switched the ignition on and if you switched it off and back on again it would display again, but now nothing!

Before I start looking for the problem, which I wont have time to do till the weekend, I thought I'd check to see if anyone had experienced the same problem?

Seem to recall reading something here about HID lights interfering with the display. Do you have HID's on the bike?

I tried disconnecting the HID kit and it made no difference.
It looks like I'll be out with the multimeter this weekend. Luckey there's a bank holiday in Ireland this weekend.

Pull the fuse for the display after moving/disconnecting the HID so that it resets it.

100% right!!
Been meaning to reply to say thanks.

I did as suggested and it is all good again, and I didn't even have to get the multimeter out:)

I haven't changed anything just reset it by pulling the fuse and disconnection the ballast. I don't want to move the ballast cos its really neat where I have it under the clocks and now that I know the fix it wont be a problem if it plays up again. Its a strange problem!

Thanks again!!

Same happened to mine yesterday, owned the bike for 7-years with no problem but soon after fitting the HID the RID freezes. Pulled Fuse-3 and it reset ok, if it does it on a regular basis I will move the ballast.
