Why should the LHS carburettor and the RHS carburettor start leaking within a few days of each other?

More the point, each of the carbs is on a different bike!

Any ideas?

Obviously, as it's me, I know how to take the float bowl off, just not what to do afterwards.

LHS is pretty common as the shit in the fuel drops down that side when it's on it's sidestand. Same with the goo from your engine breather.

RHS though. Now that's pretty worrying. It could be the liner in the tank coming away a la Mr Nimrods clogging everything in it's path up. Or it could be the bike about to go into total meltdown.

In my R100GS tank great sheets of tank liner come away...

More worryingly, tiny particles, seemingly fine enough to get past the inline filters, end up in the carbs.

I think we should have a mass tank sealing session.

If only for the comedy value alone!

RHS is on the G/S. I'm going to have a look at it later today.

LHS on the RT, I think is fuel that's gone up the air pipe and leaking, I'll have to inspect more closely.

If somebody brings the pants, I'll bring the kitchen towel!
