Anybody able to recommend me someone for getting alterations made to motorcycle leathers without it costing the earth?

I've had some work done in a place on Harcourt street in Dublin. Good work but pricey.
I've also had some repairs to boots done in a bootmakers just near the bridge on Charlemont st. Work was adequate and quite reasonable if memory serves.

Would it be worth asking whatever garment alteration service is in your area, a couple in my area, one a shop and the other a woman in a cottage. I'd have thought that a professional garment alteration service would be geared up for leather jackets, skirts etc. Perhaps ask in whatever cloths shop /boutique is in your local town for a recommendation.

I had a set of leathers altered a long time ago by a saddlemaker near me.
They had the kit and skill to work with leather. Price was very reasonable.
Might be worth googling one in your area.
