the aftermarket has only three mounting points the three underneath just uses the orignal factory rubber gromet. There is no up and down beam adjustment therefor making the light bean to low. The adjuster you make i am hoping that it makes the lamp beam adjustable
The OE lamp has the adjustment mechanism within the housing, which itself is fixed. This can give trouble if it sticks or the ball and socket arrangement comes apart. The LED one doesn't have this and the whole unit pivots on the two side fixing screws to adjust. The adjuster slippery eel makes attaches to the underside of the LED lamp and locates on the peg on the subframe. Gives more rigid support to the LED unit and easy adjustment. It works a treat and is highly recommended.
Comments above correct ref no simple way to assist the AliExpress headlamp.
Small to for everyone - with the adjuster fitted, to enable it to work, you don't want the two main side bolts really tight, otherwise it won't want to tilt. So there's a sweet spot of backing of two big bikes just enough to allow the micro movement offered by the adjuster
If wanted, I can provide an abs washer to place between the main bolt and the fitting it passes through.
