Excellent news; seems we have root cause of the problem at last. Now try not washing your bike for a while. Also, are you sure that ACF50 isn't eating connector seals? Personally, I'd say don't use the stuff - just refrain from washing it, and maybe using a magnifying glass to inspect the connector seals.

Always knew the root cause water ingress into connector definitely not ACF50 rotting seals I've not used any yet. ACF50 is designed to be used on aircraft so is supposed to be safe for all parts. As you can see in the picture it's pretty dirty so fault is not over washing.
So far it's had 3 new lights and 2 connectors it's a shame dealers don't have people with your expertise working for them explaining that yes sir your bike has developed this issue because you washed it.

Yes very strange either that or I've been unlucky and always ended up with dodgy replacements. I've left the one I swapped from the right on the left now. This has been fine from new and 9000 miles so let's see if it throws a wobbly and eats that one too.Well the washing thing was just a theory.
Very weird that your bike is eating lights.
Same one each time? As they are wired in parallel that rules out voltage spikes which is the only other thing I can think of.
