Well that was easy. Swung into Vines this morning. 15 minutes later, i was off to work with a new fog light

Well not sure if this has been addressed by BMW or not but I sold my 2014 and now have a 2016 I've pressure washed it and touch wood no issues yet.

Terry we've both had this.
I think if you get the lights working - KEEP THAT BIKE !
DrRich are yours ok now, I can't believe it's still happening. After I wash my bike I blow it dry and there is loads of water trapped in the lamp body pretty poor design really.

well on way back it decided to work again and nearly two years later it's never failed since
dI had one fail at high altitude in Austria and a dealer in Germany changed the spot but it still didn't work.

Hi Jon long time no see, may catch up on an Oxford ride out some time. I've disconnected mine at the lamp end and given them a good dose of ACF50
They are back on so hopefully cured.

Hi Everyone.
Just got an E4 2017 GSA and first wash same left hand light issue. Didn't read this first so took it off bracket wiggled cable and sprayed wd40 and after an hour or so must have "dried" out and started working.
I'd like to disconnect and clean up or coat the connectors but don't know how to get the connector block off the back of the light.
Is there a technique / clip etc I need to know about ?
Cheers
Jim
Ps rest of bike great !!!
Insert a thin blade screw driver into the hole at the front feel for the clip / release tab then pull connector off. Yes I know why bloody things are useless

We got good at doing this Terry didn't we![]()
