LED Indicator Upgrade

They look tasty..........who's going to be the guinea pig?!?!

Me I guess. I've bought a pair. :)

Worth a punt at £11.

Smaller OEM LED ones would have needed loom adaptor plus £25 odd each for indicator. So £60/70?

See how I get on. If no worry, loom adaptor it is. These on the back and tiny LED ones up front.

A true pioneer............................. keep us posted!!

Tapatalked from my MotoX Dev Edition.

Just fitted a pair of OEM LED indicators to my 07 GS. The indicators came from the For Sale section (Matra?) and I used the loom adapters from Motorworks. The loom adapter has an in-line crimp and I assume that the intention is to cut the original 2.8mm female spade connector off the loom and crimp it on. I cut the in-line connectors off the adapter wires and put a male 2.8mm spade connector on and put it all back together. No errors and all works fine just make sure you observe wire colours else they may not work.
The crimps are usually sold for car speaker connectors. The females are easy to find but the males are less so. If you are going to get some you need the the red coloured ones. Maplins do them.:thumb2
