Led indicators question

My new to me f650gs 2008my has the original large orange indicators on it, a mate us offering me some BMW led indicators of his 1200gsa. Wondering if I need resistors to get them to work or will the can bus system know and flash them at the right rate?

Dealer will need to adjust I believe. Had mine transferred from my old F650.

Coding to my bike..... Hmmm inexpensive you say..... Not when your nearest dealer is 300kms away..... And you live in a rip off country.

Just saw this - no dealer / resistor involvement required. I did it, they're plug and play (on a 2009 658 at least)

They are plug and play, easy peasy.

I've got a set of direct replacement LED indicators that fit into the original, non LEd housings. Bought them by mistake from a pal.
