LED Side Light for CanBus bikes

Not sure how many people have fitted HID lights to their bikes then wanted the little side light bulb changed? But everyone who i have fitted have asked if we did a bulb. Upto now we have only found LED's that work on 'non-canbus' bikes! However we will soon complete testing on a very bright 5w LED that will not put a canbus warning LampF on the your display. Hope to have them for sale by end of October! :eek:

Has anyone found an LED bulb that works with our CanBus systems? :rob

Yes thanks. £4 each delivered fron Hong Kong. Provide a good stable resistance to keep the CanBus happy.

Would like an glass encapsulated type though. Price?
 
That's a good competitive price I reckon. I took a punt on the HK goodies as the UK ones were silly prices. Under a tenner is excellent.

Yes sure! They will be on sale at www.motorbikeadventures.co.uk and cheaper for UKGSER's from this site. Anyone else need one? LED's should look like this 9mm across the base 3 cm long bright white light, very nice:-

I've had a similar bulb from another retailer on this site but it has lasted no time at all. Fitted it about five months ago and within 3 months one of the LED's has gone out. The others still work but I have a constant LAMPF! code on the dash.

You could try one of thease or wait till my has run a few weeks! I get no LampF warning but so far all LED's are working fine, going to Daker in a months time so got 5 weeks to try it out! :)

I have not looked into it, but would these fit a 800gs? I have not got my manual at hand at the mo...
